Alloy 825 Round Bar

Alloy 825 round bar - Resistant to Stress Corrosion Cracking

Alloy 825 round bar is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy that is supplemented with titanium, molybdenum and copper that is furnished in the hot worked and annealed state. In terms of mechanical properties, it achieves cryogenic to medium-high temperatures and can be notably toughened through cold working. High nickel content makes sure it is resistant to stress corrosion cracking. Supreme Engineering Limited is a well established company among other Alloy 825 round bar suppliers and Alloy 825 round bar manufacturers.

Apart from ensuring resistance to stress corrosion cracking, it also takes care of molybdenum and copper to resist reducing environments like phosphoric and sulphuric acids, chromium to resist oxidising environments like nitric acid and titanium to prevent inter-granular corrosion and resistance to crevice corrosion and pitting. This alloy is produced to resist corrosion.

Features of Alloy 825 round bar:

  • Excellent resistance to stress-corrosion cracking.
  • Good resistance to sulfuric and phosphoric acids.
  • Very resistant to reducing and oxidizing acids.
  • Exceptional mechanical properties at room and elevated temperatures.

Specifications:

The various forms of Alloy 825 round bar are covered by the following standards:
