Nimonic alloy 80a is a wrought, nickel-chromium alloy that is made stronger with the incorporation of carbon, titanium and aluminium. For forms to be forced out, it is developed by high-frequency melting and casting in air. Nimonic alloy 80a is used for applications like die casting inserts and cores, automobile exhaust valves and bolts.
